Business Review...Uncle Brewski's Offers A Refreshing Change

Remember the days when you could find your friends eating over-stuffed sandwiches in the park or when you'd pass a checker or chess game in progress on a picnic table? Some suggest those times are gone but they're not forgotten at Uncle Brewski's.

Uncle Brewski's is a refreshingly different family fun pub located next to the new Albertson's on Pine Island Road, one block east of the Del Prado intersection.

The menu offers slow-roasted black angus top round, juicy center cut pork loin and daily "best" sandwiches or "Samees" as they prefer to call them, as well as 20 varieties of imported and domestic beer on tap. Naturally soft drinks, wine and wine coolers are available. "Samees" come in small and large sizes and are priced $5.66 and $7.55 respectively.

Just like the neighborhood park, there is a large play area complete with kids' TV shows, graffiti wall and hopscotch games. Big kids can enjoy checkers or chess at their picnic table. The "KIDZ" menu offers $1.00 hot dogs and $1.00 sodas for children 12 and under.

Uncle Brewski's touts a casual, come-as-you-are atmosphere. Service is never a problem since you write your order on a form provided in a basket on your table and deliver to the register at the back of the restaurant to be filled.

Your first impression might be that it really is different. It is...but refreshingly so. Their huge over-stuffed sandwiches are out-of-this world wonderful and your hosts could not be nicer.
